Schumann resonance frequencies and harmonic modes
The Earth–ionosphere cavity supports a family of low-frequency modes. The live dashboard tracks the fundamental and provides spectrogram context for the higher bands.
The commonly cited modes
Reference values are approximately 7.83 Hz for the fundamental, 14.3 Hz for the second mode, 20.8 Hz for the third, 27.3 Hz for the fourth, and 33.8 Hz for the fifth. Real measurements are not exact textbook numbers.
What a shift can indicate
Frequency depends on the effective cavity geometry and conductivity, which vary with ionospheric and geomagnetic conditions. A shift is a clue about the measured environment, not a complete explanation of the event that produced it.
Read frequency beside amplitude
Use F1 for location of the fundamental peak and Amp F1 for its relative signal power. The clearest interpretation comes from their joint time series, Q F1, the spectrogram, and the timestamp rather than from a headline number alone.
